The Man He Appeared to be in Public:

Admired and in good terms with most of his acquaintances and neighbors
business man successful in his contracting company
hosted elaborate street parties for his neighbors and friends and was a sociable man
dressed as a clown to entertain children at local hospitals
immersed in organizations to strive for the improvement of his community
generous, amiable, diligent man
devoted to his family and community

His Second Life as as a Serial Killer:

Used vicious means to torture, rape and murder more than thirty young men and boys
some of his homosexual victims we presume Gacy picked up from gay bars
confessed of luring his victims into being handcuffed
would sexually assault them and would use chloroform to muffle the cries of his victims
he would kill them by pulling a rope or board against their throat as he raped them
sometimes would keep the dead corpses under his bed or in the attic for numerous hours before burying them i the crawl space or throwing them into the river
Thirty-two bodies were discovered in total, found both in his property and local rivers

It is not hard to learn that the serial killers such as John Wayne Gacy, also an apparent psychopath,
are almost flawless in masking their true destructive face.

Biography:

when 11 years old, hit on the head by a swing and developed a blood clot until sixteen characterized by sever blackouts
diagnosed with a heart ailment and he constantly mentioned discomfort in his heart
turbulent relationship with his father in his teenage years unlike his devoted mother
his father was an alcoholic who physically abused Gacy's mother and him and his siblings

How he lured his victims:

started conversation with his social skills
invited them to his house
handcuff trick
suggested they get on his car to join him for a joint
shoved a rag over his face doused with chloroform to make the victim lose consciousness
